CHAIRMAN: Ossie Bruckard serves Highland FM 107.1 as Chairman of the Board of Directors and Treasurer. “I have been involved with Highland FM for the past ten years, and having no desire to be a presenter, I took over the role of lawn mower, a role that I have continued for about nine years. My employment history is in Local Government, where I was qualified as a Local Government Clerk, and over thirty years held positions up to Deputy Clerk, in several Councils in various parts of the State. I had one period as a Director in the late 90's, and was again invited to join the Board in early 2005 by the then Chairman Peter Bunting. I became Chairman and Treasurer in October 2005.

SECRETARY: Terence Rannard (Terry) has joined the board of Highland FM 107.1 and serves as Secretary. Terry is a former Engineer, and has lived in the region for nearly 45 years. “I retired from the workforce in 2002. An appointed Justice of the Peace, in addition to having interests in rail traction, rail modelling, and music, I have a high level of commitment to family and friends. I am pleased to be a part of Highland FM.”

STATION MANAGERS

Graham Moir edited
Kerry Levett

CO-STATION MANAGER: Graham Moir is a co-manager of Highland FM 107.1. Graham has been with Highland FM since May 1987. While I still work for myself, the radio station is my thing. Radio has fascinated me since I was a little boy, eg Macquarie Studio at the Easter Show. With local presenters I aim to have Highland FM the best available station in the Highlands.

CO-STATION MANAGER: Kerry Levett combines his co-manager’s position with presentation of ‘Fur, Feathers & Friends’ every Saturday morning 9 - 10 am.and ‘The Highland Living Show’, Friday at 8.00 am. Those that know me would say that it has taken me 58 years to find my calling in life in Animal Welfare as President and Founder of ‘Friends of the Shelter’ at the Kelston Safe Haven. I have a sound grounding in Management Skills and a desire to see Highland FM as a high quality Community Radio Station

HOW YOU CAN BECOME A MEMBER

If you are interested in becoming involved - your contribution will be very welcome. You may have the ability to become a presenter or have technical skills to offer. You may wish to provide a programme on behalf of your group or organisation or assist with the day to day running of Highland FM. There are many rewarding opportunities. Training and support is always available to help you become part of your community radio station.
